You might be wondering why you would want to buy a program for your own machine then? The answer lies in the fact that online virus scanning packages don’t constantly monitor your own pc. This is a big drawback. I always highly recommend folks install an anti-virus package on their machine. But, if you ever find yourself in a bind, try these online services:
-Trend Micro’s Housecall Scanner
…-Panda Scanner
-RAV Scanner
-Computer Associate Scanner

I’ve used AVG Anti-Virus for years without any problems whatsoever. If people are looking for a free virus scanning program, this is it. Check it out at www.grisoft.com.
