If you are new here, you may want to subscribe to our feed.

There are a host of good, free stuff out there. Here are a few of them.

1. BiDefender’s Free Linux Anti-virus.
2. XFocus security group’s Xscan security and vulnerability scanner rocks.
3. The MozBackup utility allows you to backup your Mozilla profile.
4. CoolWebSearch is an especially insidious spyware program (ingenius too). CWShredder goes toe to toe in removing it. Download the stand alone version of CWShredder now.
5. Need a solid software firewall? ZoneAlarm still rocks.

More to come, but that’s a start. Feel free to share some good, free proggies you like.
