Google Maps is now in beta and it’s pretty cool. The maps are draggable, so it’s like having a map right in front of you. And you can search for items in the location you are viewing. So, let’s say you want to see all the Wendy’s restaurants in a certain location. Go to the location and search for Wendy’s in the search bar. Voila, they appear. Pretty cool. 
Also, say you want to see what things really look like in your neck of the woods. You want to have a bird’s eye view of things. Go to the satellite view and see where you live. The geek barometer just went up a notch.
