I go Boingo for Skype!

By admin | Jul 15, 2005

Boingo Logo + Skype Logo= Wifi Telephony! Boingo and Skype are teaming up to provide Skype’s internet telephony over Boingo’s 18,000 Wifi hotspots worldwide. The service will cost $8 a month. When Skype started it was fraught with connection and quality problems. But the service has dramatically improved. …I have soliticed feedback from users and most have reported crystal clear connections when doing domestic and international calling. This service, which is clearly aimed toward business travelers, can offer a cheap solution for road warriors.

I knew VoIP would make it ‘mobile’. I wonder if they’ll be offering home users money to use there gateways? It would be minto vimto if they did.
