FirefoxExtending Firefox capabilities is fun - and can really help productivity. I am going to share some nice ones I like. Feel free to add to the list - silly, fun, productive - it’s all good.

1. Rankquest’s SEO toolbar - it gives you a ton of options for things to view about a page. You can do keyword density analysis, meta tag analysis, explore links, Google back links, MSN back links, Alexa checks, and links to great sites.

2. eMusic toolbar - eMusic gives you a free download a day. The site is an independent artist vendor. If you like getting over 300 new tracks a year - would be a good one.

3. Blockfall - basically Tetris for firefox. So fun, so addicting - so free.

4. Fasterfox - prefetching, caching, and general network tweaking of firefox to increase download speed. Just remember, speed thrills.

5. ImageBot - allows batch uploading of photos to free photo hosting. Very nice tool to have right in your browser!

Thanks for the tips! Here are the extensions I like:
Fasterfox - ditto on this one
    Forecastfox - weather reports
Google Toolbar for Firefox - The IE toolbar for FF
Print Preview - adds a print preview button

Mostly good choices to me. I already use FasterFox and might possibly consider the SEO Toolbar. But at the moment, my preference goes to:

    1) FasterFox
    2) WebDeveloper - useful for even non-web developers (allows viewing of CSS, block ids, validation and more)
    3) AdBlock - excellent ad blocker
    4) SessionSaver - saves your last session of tabs and windows

I’ve used Fasterfox for quite a while now, and though it occasionally slows down new pages I visit, pages I regularly visit it speeds up surfing a LOT!

I’ve found a link for a tweaked version of Fasterfox, called rather cheesly Fastererfox. It allows you to grab web pages even faster with some new options which can be changed by the rather cool sounding “Thrash” option in the properties box.
