Podmaxx gives you a lot of freedom. And, for $29 (Podmaxx Gold), it might be a great deal if you use your iPod a ton. The Gold version incorporates all of the Podmaxx suite, which includes: Podmaxx, Podmaxx video, and ring factory. Podmaxx video allows you to rip any DVD you own to your iPod. Talk about portability. This would come in real handy on those long flights! Then there is the ring factory. This software allows you to grab pieces of your favorite songs and upload them to your phone. It is compatible with all open networks, including: Sprint PCS, Cingular, AT&T Wireless, Verizon, T–Mobile, Rogers, Telus and others, supporting more than 100 handsets.

Podmaxx also allows you to hook any iPod up and access like it was your very own. That will have loads of people drooling. You can also sync Outlook and grab RSS feeds for weather, news, sports, etc. It also incorporates podcast syncing. May be something to check out if you’re an iPod enthusiast.
