I have been using SmartFTP for like a year now and I love it. It’s free if you are using it for personal, non-commercial use. It does everything you want and it does it fast. The layout is intuitive and can be completely customized. They also have a 64 bit version. SmartFTP can handle multiple connections that open up in a tabbed format. If you are working on multiple sites, this is a great time saver. It can handle SSL and TLS and works with IPv6. This thing also does FXP. FXP allows you to directly transfer from one FTP server to another, though some restrictions apply.

I also love the fact that when I log into SmartFTP it remembers my login information. This software contains a backup utility to save all that connection information. I hate remembering all that stuff, and this software just makes it easy. There are a ton of other features that I am not mentioning here, but you get the point. I really like SmartFTP.

Have to agree. SmartFTP is the most intuitive ftp client I’ve used.
I’ve been using FileZilla all the time. It’s free and open-source. I never heard of SmartFTP yet, so I’ll try it for a couple of days.
ahh yes SmartFTP. It’s even better than CuteFTP, cheaper too
