I am seeing problem with my laptop, but support folks say, though my laptop is G4, 12" powerbook bought in 2004 Dec, the serial number doesn't match with the list of approved serial numbers for recall.

What do I do? I have been getting burnt while working on this laptop, and it has also caused burnt marks on my work table.

Any help?
