Text Link Ads

textlinkads logo.gifI don’t do this very often, but I’m going to give my take on an advertising method. Text Link Ads has been a very successful avenue for me. It is easy to institute and manage. Basically, you sign up at Text Link Ads and then you tell them about your site. You place your site in the appropriate category and then wait for sign ups. When folks sign up, you will be notified via email. The price is set by Text Link Ads and they take 50% of that fee. Most people will balk at this kind of commission. Look at it this way though - they manage the whole process. You write content or manage it - which is probably what you want to be doing anyway. And 50% of something is better than 100% of nothing. It gives both advertiser and publisher a good value. You can opt to approve ads before they run to ensure quality and relevance. And they send checks out when you make $25 or more a month. I absolutely love this program and think it will work well for you too.

I’ve heard good things about them, but unfortunately, they don’t support TypePad. :(
