Just imagine this. You have your online business all set up. Now you’re dreaming of what to do with your time. I know, it’s rough. Then it dawns on you. Why not get mobile satellite tv and internet and hit the road? Sounds like a good plan to me. Your mind starts dreaming of traveling through the Rockies, the Scottish highlands, or the Apennines. That way you can keep track of your online assets while feeling the wind in your hair. That’s where RaySat steps in.
…
“RaySat’s T5 is a low-cost, in-motion, 4″ high satellite TV antenna capable of receiving satellite TV signals from a dedicated satellite, either in BSS or FSS bands. For example, on a regular FSS US satellite of 48dbW EIRP, it can enable up to 4Mbps per transponder. Such performance requires coordination with adjacent satellites and can be translated into four to six MPEG-4 video channels per transponder or one MPEG-4 High Definition channel per transponder. It can work across multiple Ku-Band frequencies (factory option) in either linear or circular polarization (field option) and operate over many geographical regions, multiple satellites and any DTH (dedicated) infrastructure. Apart from some adoption that may be required to the set top boxes, an existing DTH infrastructure will suffice. RaySat’s T5 is an entry point for any DTH, satellite operator or content provider interested in supplying satellite TV service to moving vehicles.”
This allows you to hook into most satellite services and also get mobile internet.
