flexible-display.JPGDr Keith Seffen of the University of Cambridge has developed morphing structures that can change their shape. They have structual memory so that they go back to their original shape. He has been prototyping rollable displays for portable computing, re-usable packing, and rollable keyboards. Which brings me to a nice ultra-portable solution.

Why not get your PDA and turn it into a mobile desktop? Here is one for my wish list. I want to get a PDA/Smartphone, the laser keyboard, and this rollable screen. The whole thing would fit in your pocket, but the end result would be comparable to a mini laptop. You could type easily and see a nice, big display. Now I just need these folks to give me review units ;)
