Creative PlayDock Zen Speaker System

By admin | Dec 13, 2006

playdock-zen.jpgIt seems that the Zen player is starting to gain some traction as a portable multimedia device. As such, Creative has created a high fidelity, docking speaker system - the PlayDock Zen. The system acts as a docking system for your Zen Vision:M, Zen V, or Zen V Plus. When the Zen player is docked it will be recharged. And the dock station also allows for video pass through. This means that you can hook up your Zen player and then connect to an external video device like a TV.

Here are the specs:

Power:

12 watts RMS per channel (2 channels)
24 watts RMS subwoofer

Frequency Response:

70Hz ~ 20kHz Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR): 80dB

Battery life:

up to 13 hours (using 8 C alkaline batteries, not included)
