This post is a little out of character for this blog, but I have my reasons. I told this story to some people and they insisted that I post it for more people. I guess they thought you would enjoy it. Let’s see if they’re right.
A friend of mine had some friends who were taking their kids to an aquarium. Their kids were in awe of all the kinds of sea life that they found there. They were particularly awe struck with the sharks and the penguins. Well, mid way through their time at the aquarium they realized that they had lost one of their kids. You can imagine the panic that set into them. They immediatley started searching frantically through the aquarium. They were just about to grab one of the attendants at the aquarium to issue something over the PA when they found him.
…
They scolded him, telling him that they were so scared. When they questioned him about why he left, he simply said that he loved the penguins. That seemed to ease the parents’ minds somewhat, but they were still so stressed that they wanted to leave. I don’t blame them. So, they packed up and started on the way home. About half way home, they noticed that their son wreaked a foul odor. They rushed home to change his clothes from his accident. The family piled out of the minivan and into the house. The parents started getting all their coats off, especially their soiled son. But when they took his coat off, their mouths hit the floor. Out from the inside of the coat jumped a little penguin. The mom screamed and then laughed nervously. The father just sat there with his mouth open, trying to say something.
