Well, it’s rolling around to that time of year – tax time. Yes, it’s that festive time of year where you get to see how much of your hard earned money goes to pork projects. You can sit back in your chair knowing that your efforts are going to massive beaucracy and ineffective programs. Okay, so I digress – couldn’t help it. No one likes tax time. Wouldn’t it be great if you could find some free tax software? Some of these are better than others, but you kinda get what you pay, or don’t pay, for. Well, wouldn’t it be nice to have some free tax software?

Ok, if you make under $52,000 a year, then the IRS has a gift for you. Yes, the IRS will actually give you something. You can get free tax preparation software! Just follow this link for free tax software. H&R Block offer you TaxCut Basic software for free. You can import Money, Quicken, Taxcut and TurboTax. TaxAct also offers you free software though I have heard that the advertisements can be a little annoying. It looks as if there will be an open source software solution sometime soon. It’s called Tax Code.
