While rumors of the demise of the “Patent Office” are widely exaggerated, I’m really getting close to believing them. Take, for example, this Head Spa Massager: a gadget that, when placed on your head and activated, interfaces with your mind and projects your thoughts on the nearest Wi-Fi enabled device massages your scalp with many tiny, finger-like pads on the inside shell of the Massager itself.

While I wouldn’t recommend wearing this in public, it’s definitely a high-tech way to relax whenever you want. It uses these pads to improve circulation by massaging at key places such as your temple, around the backs of your neck, and along the top of your head. Best part? Only 2.1 pounds, even with the rechargable batteries; also the hastle of replacing the batteries (unless they’ve run their course) isn’t part of the experience.
