P-ism Pen Computer

By admin | Mar 9, 2007

p-ism.jpgSometimes I would love to have a computer that is small. It sounds like Apple may be coming up with a flash mini laptop sometime soon, but I want something smaller. But I want something that has full size capability. And then the folks at NEC came up with a design that would make any geek have to pick his tongue up off the ground. The P-ism is a pen computer design that would allow you to carry your computer, er cell phone, uh computer stylus, hmm projector thingy in your pocket.

Okay, so you may look ultra nerdy carrying the lot of them in your pocket, but aren’t they cool? One is actually a cellular phone with internet access. It is wirelessly linked to the other pens for modularization. Another one is a virtual keyboard, that allows you to utilize a full-size virtual keyboard similar. Yet another pen can function as a very small projector for the display. A camera scanner allows for easy photo needs. And the final one is an ID key for paperless transactions. I thought that this was a concept only, but I saw that they recently presented it at CeBIT 2007. I want one, or, er five.
