The iPod Shuffle is a great thing; by allowing you to carry music in the smallest of containers, it has effectively made it possible to take any song any where. Whether jogging, on-the-job, or finding yourself without pockets for whatever reason, it’s a great platform…until you add the bulky headphones and obtrusive cord you need to actually listen to the thing. That, my friends, is where Monster’s iFreePlay Headphones come in. These headphones are special: They have a 2G iPod Shuffle dock build right into the headset.
No more wire hastle, since there aren’t any. You don’t need to fumble around in your pocket if you don’t like the song, since the controls are cleverly and clearly exposed on the ear. They sport a behind-the-back look, as I call it, so they look sporty. There are a number of reasons to check out a pair of these. Lastly, it’s price is reasonable: 49.99 for a pair. I’m not sure what you’re getting beyond the headphones and the dock itself; it’d be strange, but you could run a cable extension from the headphones to another variety of MP3 player easily. Either way, they look spiffy enough to take a closer look, in my opinion.
Features are as follows:
Monster iDock port eliminates headphone cords iPod Shuffle docks directly into headphones
Wrap-around design: no need for clips, armbands, or pockets
Easy access to all iPod Shuffle controls
Folds for compact storage
