Meizu MiniOne M8 Cell Phone

I tell you, those Asians just love their electronics. Not that we Americans don’t love them too. But there is just such a culture in Asia around all things electronic. In any case, it should come as no surprise that an iPhone clone should come along. Meizu has been upgrading and reworking their MiniOne since its announcement. It looks like the latest model will offer 16GB of flash storage and an internal camera. Pretty impressive unit


Here is the spec rundown:

Dimensions: 59 * 107 * 11.8mm

Configuration: CPU : 667MHz + ARM11 video decoder / encoder video CODEC

Memory : 128 MB DDR SDRAM, built-in cache (two 16 512Mb chip components 1024Mb 3 2)

Format : GSM + EDGE (2.75G)

Operating System : Based on the WIN CE6.0 core, self-development, Division of OS

Screen : 3.4-inch TFT VGA + (720 * 480) 16000000 color touch screen viewing angle

Camera : 300W pixels (AF, no flash)

Battery : 1400mAH around

Other : Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, TV OUT \ LINE OUT, USB HOST / OTG. HOST through USB or Bluetooth GPS function expansion

Function : basic communication functions, audio players, video players (720 * 480 30-fps/ S H263/264 MPEG2 WMV other mainstream MPEG4 video formats, including rm, JPG), 30-fps / S video recording, Wi-Fi wireless Internet access, optical control ( under the strength of the light automatically adjust the screen brightness), direction and speed sensors (sensors can be automatically adjusted state handheld screen directions)

Looks like the 4GB version will be sold at $259, 8GB for $324, and the 16GB will sell for $453.

    Not that I’m for it if it does, but still…
