Pluggd is probably the most useful search company that you’ve never heard of. But, trust me, you will hear about them - a lot. Signs abound that this small startup company has the potential to go stratospheric in the next 5 years. And the recent capture of $6M in venture capital only confirms that others see the potential as well. Pluggd just may be able to provide to the audio/video arena what Google has been providing to text search. And that includes providing contextual ads served to relevant content. So, first, give users exactly what they want from search. And then, offer up relevant products and services with those searches. Genius. Some demos after the jump.
