You and your buddies have planned a week long hiking trip.  One of the things you really enjoy is getting out in nature.  But you really like doing grueling day-long hiking routes while listening to your favorite tunes.  Obviously, that iPod battery charge isn’t going to last you the entire week.  So, what is a hiker to do?  Solio could fit the bill with its super sleek and easy to use charger.

One of the really neat features is that Solio incorporates a lithium ion battery into the housing.  The three-winged charger cells expand outwards from their compact configuration to give maximum charging area.  And the battery stores the charge for a later time.  That’s a nice feature considering that it’s not always sunny.  Now, you can simply let the thing collect rays until you’re ready to charge.  When the time comes, you simply plug in your iPod, cell phone, or GPS unit and click the button.  Pretty simple.
