pvm.jpgYou know the drill. You stuffed a bunch of coins into a parking meter to rush off to an interview. But the interview is running over because their interest is high. So now you have a high pressured interview situation and you’re thinking of that stupid parking meter in the back of your head. Photo Violation Technologies wants to put you and the parking meter attendants at rest with their handy new system. They allow more ways to pay and even let you come a little late - all without getting hammered with a violation. That will make those interviews much less stressful.

The PVM allows you to pay with credit card, cash, pay-by-phone, and debit cards. It even includes a grace period which, when enabled, will allow folks who are running slightly behind to pay up on those extra minutes. And those paying with credit card can select the feature to pay any overages immediately to avoid being fined. It will even call you when your time has expired. If you do incur a fine, you have the option of paying on the spot at the meter. How does this parking meter know your car is still there? Well, it has a sensor that detects it. And it has a theft alarm and is powered by solar and batteries. Enforcement is easy because the PVM takes a picture of any offending vehicles. And the thing is hooked to a wireless system that attendants can log into. And the PVM can even be set to send out an auto tow notification if a vehicle is a no parking zone.
