File this away under the category of unnerving. Most of would have an immensely difficult time doing private things in public spaces. You can see this as children become aware of their own nudity. Artist Monica Bonvicini likes exploring the lines of public and private life in her art. One such piece is called “Don’t Miss A Sec” plays on such things. But it was actually inspired by art viewers’ reluctance to miss anything at an art opening. Well, one such “inconvenience” would be having to use the restroom. So, Monica Bonvicini came up with a nice way to allows folks to view their outside surroundings while using the restroom in a public space. The result is an anxiety ridden bathroom experience using the magic of two way mirror technology. The real question is – Would you use it?
