Why not take in the sites, sounds, and people of two major landmarks? The Tholos Pod is a very cool idea to bring distant landmarks side by side. Tholos is a circular object with a 360 degree screen. The screen is a true video feed of the other landmark that allows for interaction with people from that culture. It’s like a wormhole to the other location. A neat idea, but it seems like all news and progress on the project has ground to a halt.
