8 Core Mac Pro

Apple announced today the release of the new 8 core processor Mac Pro. Let’s just say it’s the 800 lb. gorilla that you do want in your house.

Apple gives you some pretty ridiculous options like: 32GB DIMMS, Four ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256MB, 4 x 300GB Serial Attached SCSI 3Gb/s; 15,000 rpm; 16MB cache, and a 30-inch Apple Cinema HD Display (M9179LL/A). Yeah, that would about do it for me ;^0. Prices starts at $2800 - that’s without a display.  Here are the specs:

Processing

• 8-core: Two 2.8GHz, 3.0GHz, or 3.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon 5400 series processors
