Let me see, file this under supplier mishaps you never want.  It seems Insignia supplied Best Buy with picture frames that had a computer virus on them.  The computer virus doesn’t seem to be a particularly bad one, but it’s still a giant problem for both supplier and retailer.

Since the incident, Best Buy has removed the item for inventory.  Insignia is also discontinuing production of the unit and has started an investigation.  It should be noted that not all frames of this model have the virus.  And, no other Insignia frames contain viruses.  I’m sure an inside manufacturing job was done here.  If you have any questions about the issue, you can call Insignia directly at 1-877-467-4289.
