One of the hard parts of running with your iPod is controlling it. If you are running on a treadmill, your effort could land you on the floor behind it. And that’s because it’s just plain hard to look at your iPod when it is on an armband, let alone control it. That’s where the Ironman iControl comes in. It makes for a perfect marriage between watch, iPod, and exercise.
Compatibility:
- iPod 5th generation (video)
- iPod Nano 2nd generation (aluminum) 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB
- iPod 5th generation (video) 60GB and 80GB
- iPod Nano 1st generation 1GB, 2GB, 4GB
- iPhone
Though I have heard of folks using it with other models and it worked fine. The unit works by plugging a little wireless dock into the iPod. Simply plugin it in and you’re off. Use this in conjunction with an Aux line to your car stereo and you have a nice portable solution. Folks who use this seem to love the thing. Amazon has them for around $80.
