You spend a ton of time outdoors. You hike, run, bike, walk and all other manner of activities. And you want a watch that matches your style and your life style. The Polar outdoor watch just may fit the bill b/se, well, it does it all.
This ain’t your father’s watch. It will get your heart rate. You can do a five minute fitness test with it. You can also do calorie tracking. This Polar watch allows you to set target zone tracking with visual and audible alarms. It also can: show maximum heart rate of total exercise, interval training, altitude and ascent, temperature and altitude, vertical speed, barometric features, compass, bearing tracking, wireless link to your Nokia 5140i or 5140 phone, training tracking upload to your computer, etc. Whew, I’m tired! And that doesn’t include all the functions. The downside? This watch costs $400.

As long as it tells the direction of the DOW, $400 is cheap.
