Motion Computing has announced a “semi-rugged” tablet device that looks cool and can do the job. An instant cool feature of the F5 is DataGuard. DataGuard utilizes an internal accelerometer that detects a potential impact and braces the hard drive. The hard drive heads move to a place on the disk that doesn’t contain data.
