This last month has seen the appearance of a pretty nasty SQL injection attack aimed at IIS/ASP servers. The attack originated in, drum roll please and look completely shocked, China. Okay, you didn’t look shocked. Well, I didn’t either.
I own an Altec Lansing 2.1 system that I have been using for many years. It has been an incredibly good system for me. It has been reliable and decent on the sound. And really, I thought the sound was very good until I unboxed the Klipsh Pro Media 2.1 system.

I love technology, gadgets, tinkering, etc. Don’t get me wrong, I really do. But I tend to deviate with techno-addicts in some areas. The problem with a lot of technology is that it tends to end up driving you, not the other way around.
Western Digital has released a beast. I really mean it. Just look at that photo. This thing will take your data, rip it apart, and spit it out faster than you can say “Mommy.”

A while ago I posted about Millimeter wave scanners. Well, it seems the airline industry has seen fit to start piloting those scanners to increase security. Oh, and it gives folks an option for not getting a pat down.
The above photo is a possible ball lightning sighting. I believe it was take in Japan and caught on film by accident. Ball lightning is still in the category of unproven. That’s because ball lightning is very rare and seemingly unpredictable. But stories persist and some videos seem to indicate its existence.
