Wave Dragon Green Wave Generator Plant

It’s really no secret that waves are incredibly powerful.  Sailors of times past were highly aware that strong squalls, and the waves that came with it, could dash their boat to pieces.  That’s why inventor Erik Friis-Madsen came up with an idea to harness that massive energy.  It’s called the Wave Dragon.

The Wave Dragon is a wave topping generator.  Unlike a lot of wave generator designs, the Wave Dragon tries to maximize wave topping to allow it to filter down through water turbines.  This, in essence, produces a good amount of electricity.  As the video shows below, it’s enough to product electricity for 10,000 homes.  That’s pretty good.
