Yeah the Samsung 225bw is a 22 inch LCD. And I kind of did that title tongue in cheek. But by today’s standards, it seems like this is becoming the new 17 inch.
The Samsung 225bw features a nice 5 ms response time with 700:1 contrast ratio. Pixel pitch is .282 mm and perspective is 16:10, which is kind of unusual. And viewing angle is a robust 160 degrees. Man, i remember back in the day when people first got the rear projection TVs. Those things had like a 20 degree viewing angle – it was hilarious. Native resolution on the Samsung 225bw is 1680×1050.
Again, people love this thing. And you should be able to pick it up for around $375. Obviously, you can pick it up cheaper if used.
