Good night, that’s an awesome HD camcorder.  Errr, it’s an awesome hard drive camcorder.  Ladies and gentlmen, it’s a Sony hd camcorder.  Okay, it’s all three.  But wow, it is a wee bit pricey!  Read those features and weep.

Yeah, it’s like $1300 currently, but it does sport a 120GB internal hard drive and 12.1 MP Handycam.  Good night.

    That’s not too bad for optical zoom.  Blah, forget digital zoom

    This thing is big and saweeet.

    That means this thing gives you image quality goodness.

    I have no idea what that means, but it sounds luscious!

    Provides data noise reduction, fast image processing and data compression.
  • Sony G Lens
    If that isn’t a marketing name, I don’t know what is.  But the lens really is good.
  • Optical SteadyShot image stabilization
    Blah, blah blah – everyone has it.
  • Built-in GPS receiver
    Well, that’s a nice feature, though some vids you would rather forget about, let alone where they were shot.
  • Smooth slow record
    Got some fast action?  This makes it slow and smooth.  Duh.
  • NightShot
    Helps with the low quality blues.
  • 12.1MP still image capture
    Man, throw away the camera.
  • Hybrid recording technology
    It means you can also use flash memory if you want.  Seriously, I guess you could use it, but why would you want to?
  • Dual record function
    Now you can shoot photos while your getting vids.  Like you don’t have enough footage of your 4 month old baby!!!!
  • D-Range optimizer function
    Errr, better shots?
  • Scene modes
    You know the drill – mountains, bunnies, small woodland creatures.
