The Garmin Foretrex 201 allows for up to 500 waypoints to be set. You can then set it to retrace back your steps for easy navigation. It also includes a trip computer, a sunset/sunrise features, and hunting/fishing information. It all runs on a lithium ion battery that lasts 15 hours. Don’t worry, the Garmin Foretrex 201 includes a charging dock that hooks to your computer.
The Garmin Foretrex 201 hooks up to your PC with a serial connection. And it also has a backlight feature. That will be nice at night. It’s also IPX7 waterproof rated for all you watersport nuts out there. It weighs 2.75 ounces and does not float! That means don’t take the strap off.
