The Auroras are amazing in and of themselves. The lights have mesmerized people for eons. And until pretty recently, their mechanism wasn’t known. As the solar wind interacts with the magnetic field at the poles, it gives off the eery strange colors. Ever wonder what they would look like from space? Wonder no more.
