Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera

I consider it part of my job to look around for the hottest electronics.  This is especially the case during the holiday season.  One of the hottest digital cameras out there is the Canon PowerShot SD780IS12.1 MP Digital Camera.  Canon is really good at giving people exactly what they want in a nice package.

This camera gives most occasional photographers what they want.  They want a camera that is simple, small, light, and easy to use.  Sure, this Powershot SD780IS only has 3x optical zoom.  But let’s face it, most people don’t care about that.  What you do get, however, is awesome picture quality with great image stabilization.  The PowerShot can also do 1280 x 720 pixel HD movies.  I tell, cameras have come a long long way.  It has an HDMI hookup and also can shoot pics in their famous modes (over 20!).  It also sports a nice 2.5 inch LCD.  In the beginning I should also have said price.  That’s because this nice entry level digital camera costs around $179!  It’s hard to beat.
