The HP Envy is not the cheapest notebook on the market, but it is an incredibly nice one. The screen pops out at you and the sound is amazing. This notebook will live up to its name.
It is not secret that HP literally stole the design from the Macbook. Put them side by side and it’s completely obvious. The 13 inch version sports an incredible WXGA display that will literally knock your socks off. It weighs in at a mind numbing 3.74 pounds and will be welcomed by any road warrior. And the aluminum body will make you want to pet your notebook. Sweet sweet Envy.
The 15 inch version is a workhorse. It weighs in at 5.2 pounds and dons a Core i7 process with Radeon HD 4830 graphics. The end result is a notebook that is not easy on batteries, but will really rock. Both notebooks have a slim battery snap on that can extend battery life. The real problem is the price. The price for the 13 inch Envy will set you back around $1700, while the 15 inch Envy will sock you at around $2000. We shall see if consumers are willing to pay for the quality – because it is there.
