JBL has come out with the JBL Control Now Bookshelf/Wall Mount Speaker and they have “cornered” the market.  Okay, bad joke.  But the JBL speakers are very well suited for corner mounting.  And Homer Simpson would love the donut configuration.  Doh.

Now, I think these speakers still need to be mounted into a corner.  I would love to see it utilize a compression fitting so that no screws are needed.  That would make it super versatile.  In any case, the JBL Control Now can also be joined together into an array of up to 4 speakers.  This allows for some interesting possibilities.  As you can see, they can be joined into a donut array and attached to a ceiling mount.
