Hunters have a problem when hunting near dusk. What do you do when the light fades if you have shot, yet not fatally injured your target? That is where the Remington RMBTHL-B blood tracking headlight comes in.
I am not a hunter, but I know people who do. I was totally surprised with this device. I have no idea why I hadn’t thought of this (er, duh, probably b/se I don’t hunt). Anyway, blood tracking headlight do exactly what you think they would. They filter out all other colors so you can see blood very easily. Now, this light isn’t super powerful as a light, but when in tracking mode, it really picks out the blood. Here is a video of the TrophyTrackerLight, so you can see kind of how it works. Of course, it’s hard to pick up the contrast on video, but I think you will get the idea.
Caution: if you are squeamish or offended by hunting scenes, I would skip this video as it shows the actual carcass.
