One of the thorniest issues is traveling and maintaining security.  Norton has come up with a nice little VPN package that allows for secure surfing while on open networks.

If you have ever been in a hotel, most likely you have used some sort of open wireless network.  That’s great for convenience, but terrible for security.  Anyone with a wireless card can snoop on your traffic from your computer to the access point.

Norton is trying to change that with an easy to use, secure VPN.  A VPN, or virtual private network, creates an encrypted tunnel over the internet.  This tunnel shields would-be onlookers from snooping on your traffic.

It can be installed on up to five devices, including: iPhone®, iPad®, iPod touch®, Mac® and Microsoft® Windows®.

A one day pass costs $2.99, 1 month costs $19.99, and one year is $49.99.
