I’ve really been getting into cooking recently.  It’s nice to make something creative that you can share with others.  Getting into smoking can be confusing.  But, if you have ever had smoked meats, you will want to try making them.  The Meco 5030 Water Smoker can get you going with ease, oh, and cheaply.

Now, here’s to ingenuity.  John Coker became a hero of mine when I saw this luscious custom crayon Rocket and staging/launching pack.  The rockets fire in quick succession.

John custom made a lot of whole setup, I think except the bodies.  The rockets sit about 3 1/2 feet tall.  And man, do they look realistic.  Here’s John working on the launch/staging box:

Great job John.  Now we need video of these bad boys lifting off.

John’s site is very cool.  He has a nice chronicle of his rocketry.  Just check his rocket gallery.  Mmmmm explosive, fast flying thingies.

It’s really hard not to compare yourself to others.  And our culture seems to thrive on getting you in on the game.  The new online service Bundle wants to help you do that in the area of finances.  Ooooh, scary.

Bundle is a group effort by MSN Money, Citi, and Morningstar.  The site is pretty easy to navigate.  You can grab demographics by entering in your data.  Or you can take a simple quiz to find your spending type.  It looks like they will also be adding a savings demographic in the future.  Now that will be interesting.

As I usually say, it can be dangerous to run with the crowd.  I think the financial numbers speak to that truth.  What do you think?

George Hotz has seemingly made it his life’s goal to jailbreak Apple’s hardware.  Seriously, his new Blacksn0w jailbreak software, which is free by the way, is super easy and super fast.  Download, run it, wait, voila.

And the result is pretty amazing.  Yep, you sketch what you want and Photosketch goes out on the web, grabs the images, and makes a suitable picture.

Holy hallucinations batman, it’s another batmobile.  Someone in Sweden had way too much time and money and needed a pet project.  The result is this amazing batmobile.  Me likie.

Nah, I didn’t mean that it really kills someone.  The Jetlev water powered jet pack will bring tears to your eyes.  This inventor has created something of such utter joy, that everyone needs one.  How about a watercraft clunkers program?  There is no charge for awesomeness (oops, actually, the 255 hp version costs $183,000).

This little doozy lets you fly around at top speeds around 40mph with a maximum height of 30 feet.  I have only one question.  How long would it take to fill up a boat with this?  tsk, tsk.
