Nokia Aeon

The launch of Apple’s iPhone was one of the best in history, for a technology product and it looks like it made it one of the most desired in the world. This is why every company that releases a new cellphone is interested in a small slice of what Apple is having, so they release their own “clones”.

The Taiwanese manufacturers are working on “iPhone-like products” to release before the first half of 2008. With all the shortcomings that iPhone has, companies like Asustek Computer, BenQ, Compal Communications and Anima Communications will likely build their mobile phones to run on Windows Mobile and will be available with GPS, 3G and probably WiFi.

However, not only those above are working on something that could look like an iPhone, Nokia does, too. Rumors say that in the first half of 2008, Nokia will bring a Symbian phone that will have a few key features that could be compared with iPhone’s, so I wonder, is Nokia Aeon just a concept or that’s what they will be developing?

What do you think?
