We have news from Finland, with Nokia announcing that their new slider, N81 with 8GB of storage, working on the new N-Gage platform and produced to offer better experience with music and gaming is now available globally and comes bundled with three demos of FIFA 07, Asphalt 3: Street Rules and Space Impact Light.

Nokia N81 8GB with N-Gage platform

Nokia N81 N-Gage is a quad-band GSM phone that comes with a business-like metallic design, gaming buttons to make your play easier, like the D-pad navigation which works like a sensitive ring that gives an iPod-feeling, features stereo integrated loudspeakers and a 3.5mm jack and fully supports audio and video capabilities. There is one thing that could have been improved and I am talking here about the US HSDPA compatibility which won’t be very fast in North America because it’s only 2100MHz WCDMA , unlike Nokia N95.

I’m not sure if they will be doing any upgrades to the N81 8GB model but as it is now you’ll be able to buy it for €430 / $615 because it’s already shipping. Is that pricey, then the 2GB model is available for €360 / $515.
