Sony Ericsson PSP Phone Rumor

There is a very small piece in a big puzzle that can make us think there could be a project to create a Sony PSP phone after reading what Jim Ryan, co-chief operating officer of Sony Computer Entertainment, said to Economic Times in India. We already know that Sony Ericsson was a success and, hell, PSP is too, but Ryan said a “convergence with working together (SE & PSP) is definitely plausible”.

We all know this doesn’t mean we’re actually going to see one manufactured but it’s hope at the end of the tunnel and if we consider that Sony Ericsson always branded their mobile phones, like Walkman or Bravia, so why not a Sony Ericsson PSP mobile phone?

If the rumor will come true, it should be a PSP with phone functions so imagine the gaming experience it will offer. I am sure it would rival with Nokia’s N-GAGE.

Later update: Sony dismissed the fact that such a device would be in the works and the Economic Times in India misquoted Jim Ryan. Great job Sony!!
