This doesn’t come as a surprise at all if you consider that India, the second biggest country in the world has pretty high standards when it comes to technology. It’s true, Indians will get unlocked iPhones for a price if they are customers of Citibank and Diners Club members, with Compact International offering the 8GB model in 6 monthly installments of $147, with a total of $882.

I don’t think they should expect to get warranty, support or service in case something bad happens with their “expensive” iPhone because this seems to be an unlocked mobile phone in a country that’s not yet been listed on Apple’s map.Even with all these disadvantages on its side I am sure the iPhone will win another market and the list is not yet over.
