iPhone GPS Module from TomTom

MacWorld 2008 will be held in San Francisco next month, but we already hear rumors and it’s not even Christmas yet. Yesterday I’ve heard of three new skinny MacBook laptops and today I found out something just as interesting. The iPhone (most desired gadget of 2007) will get an upgrade from TomTom that will include a GPS Module and the application to run it.

iPhone GPS Module from TomTom

This is still a rumor, as TomTom didn’t bother to make a comment, but if we consider they want to allow third parties to develop applications for the iPhone and their decision to enter the car market and win the drivers (VW partnership) this may sound like the way to do it.

Take it with a lot of salt and we see if it comes true, next month.
