From what I’ve read so far about the new Samsung G810 this smartphone could be the first one that could take on Nokia’s N95. If it’s not better, at least it’s running closely behind it as a tough challenger. Our Czech friends from Mobil.cz said that it could be announced in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress.
But until then, here is what the new Samsung SGH G810 should pack. Running Symbian 9.2 OS with S60 3.1 UI, the GSM/UMTS/3.6Mbps HSDPA smartphone uses a 2.6-inch QVGA TFT display and features GPS navigation.
Another great thing is a very smart 5mp camera. It can zoom up to 3x, has auto-focus, anti-shake, face recognition and macro mode. These are things that you usually get in a digital camera not in a mobile phone, so you’d better appreciate them.
Last few things you should know about include Wi-Fi b/g, Bluetooth, USB connectivity (microUSB) and a microSD card slot. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that you get 150MB of built-in memory.
The price should be 580 Euro so believe me this is going to be a good challenger for Nokia’s N95 (even the 8GB version).
