HTC Touch Diamond (rumor)

If you’re in London tomorrow at 11:30 in the morning, HTC would like you to take a moment and “witness the next wave of HTC Innovation”. In an attempt to build an event similar with those that Steve Jobs helds, HTC is rumored to come up with the Touch Diamond smartphone that we have the pictures of.

The specs of the new HTC Touch Diamond include a 2.8-inch VGA display, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, Quad-band HSDPA 7.2 and eGPS. It packs a FM tuner, has a 528 MHz CPU, runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, has a 4GB internal flash and a micro SD slot and 3.2 mpix auto-focus camera.

Though nothing is real right now, the rumor has a rumor: an orientation sensor or an accelerometer of some sort.

If it turns out to be the real thing, the new HTC Diamond will probably do some damage in the market because many love it already. I’m one of them.
