Rumors were plentiful during the lengthy wait, but it was still great to see the final 3G iPhone, unwrapped in all of its beauty. With thinner edges, a plastic back, sleek headphone jack, and the innovative iPhone 2.0 firmware, Apple has exemplified improvements on many of its formerly criticized aspects. 3G is the most demanded feature of the new iPhone, but so is the connection speed: 2x faster than the old models and Apple says that pages load 36% faster than the N95 and Treo 750 (which have been long considered “very fast”). The 3G iPhone will be released on July 11th in 22 countries and the company hopes to fill all stores in over 70 countries with the wonder product, in less then a month afte. Did I tell you the price?$199 for the 8GB model and $299 for the 16GB version. It should sell great on today’s market, I bet.
