Nokia is planning to launch its all new E series E66 slider this year in the third quarter. It features GSM, EDGE, WiFi, A-GPS, WCDMA and HSDPA (3.6 Mbps web browsing) bands, a 3.2 mega-pixel auto focus camera with an additional camera for video calls and chat and has a 2.4 inch of type QVGA dispaly.
Nokia also introduced new styling with this E 66 slider because it’s just 13.66mm thick and looks very neat. Other specs include a lithium-ion battery that can last up to 7.5 hours on GSM, 3.5 yours on 3G and 14 days on standby, 110 MB of internal memory and you can expand the memory up to 8 GB with the micro SD card slot and two colors to choose from : grey steel or white steel.
It also has options to switch profiles from business to personal that includes switching your work emails and documents. That really “turned me on” and I may give it a try soon. Nokia’s quoting this at “under $500,” and probably won’t have any carriers in the States on a short term.
