Nokia 6260 Slide is now finally official. While it’s hard to blame companies about how long they take to bring the final products out as we peep in too early, one must confess that the 6260 slide is a bit disappointing despite its unique features.

The 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens and Nokia Maps riding AGPS make it the first S40 series mobile to sport the features. Yet when you slide it out, you get the old numeric keypad instead of the QWERTY.
The 6260 sports a2.4 inch 340 x 480 display screen and is 15.4 mm thick, making it pretty pocket friendly. It also packs Wi-Fi, HSDPA/HSUPA data to quickly share photos and video on Nokia’s Ovi service along with quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band UMTS radios.
Initial reports claim that you can expand memory using MicroSD Card, but to what extent is still not clear. Expect the phone to hit stores in early 2009 with its price tag around €299. If you are looking for a good slide phone that is not high-end, then this might just work out fine.
